THE TRUTH BOX: * THE GOOD: A stunning 8.5-inch shallow studio pottery bowl. The complex crystalline reactive glaze (moss green with crystalline white sunbursts) transitions into a deeply textured, earthy brown segmented rim. A superior example of high-end ceramic glaze chemistry.

THE BAD: Pre-owned vintage condition. There is shelf wear on the unglazed foot consistent with age, but no chips, cracks, or significant crazing. The maker's mark (impressed four-dot cipher) is present but currently unidentified. Note: Previous Oestreich attribution has been purged as the mark does not match verified JO studio chop.

THE VERDICT: A premium, technically difficult piece of studio art that serves perfectly as a wabi-sabi centerpiece anchor.
